đź Job Summary
Our Batch Mixers are responsible for executing complex chemical formulations using batch sheets, operating mixing and processing equipment, monitoring system controls, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of every batch. Youâll work with materials in totes, drums, bags, and reactorsâhandling batches up to 4,000 gallons. This role demands attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and strong knowledge of chemical blending procedures.
đ§ Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily safety meetings and uphold all safety protocols.
- Review batch sheets and accurately formulate chemicals according to specifications.
- Weigh and stage raw materials (powders, liquids, and solids) from drums, totes, and bags.
- Load raw materials into reactors and blending vessels.
- Monitor gauges, temperature controls, pumps, mixers, and milling equipment.
- Record batch data, document production steps, and maintain accurate logs.
- Communicate batch progress and shift notes to incoming operators and supervisors.
- Notify maintenance immediately when equipment issues arise.
- Perform housekeeping in your work area to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Assist helpers, train new staff, and ensure safety/quality standards are understood.
- Support additional tasks such as packaging, staging, and order preparation when needed.
â Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- 3+ years of blending, chemical batching, or formulation experience
- Experience in chemical or pharmaceutical production strongly preferred (more than food manufacturing)
- Ability to operate mixers, pumps, milling machines, and other processing equipment
- Strong communication skills for clear shiftâtoâshift handoff
- Ability to lift, bend, move containers, and perform physical tasks as required
- Willingness to start with labor tasks and advance to full batch operation responsibilities

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
