Job Description

The Quality Technician will be responsible for the inspection of various metal parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators. The role involves taking parts from production and running them through a quality assurance process. Most of the day will involve inspection and documentation tasks, with some time spent on other general duties.

Responsibilities

• Inspect metal parts using micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
• Conduct visual inspections and document findings.
• Ensure parts meet quality assurance standards.
• Perform internal audits and adhere to ISO standards.
• Engage in general duties such filing paperwork.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to read blueprints and have strong mathematical skills.
• Technical mindset and proactive approach.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensenville, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
