We are seeking a dedicated Cleanroom Technician to operate molding, assembly, or packaging equipment in accordance with product specifications. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on manufacturing products for the medical industry.
Responsibilities- Operate molding, assembly, or packaging equipment as per product specifications.
- Package and label products according to customer specifications.
- Perform visual inspections to identify defects and ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Report identified defects to the Cell Leader.
- Enter daily production and scrap data into the BMS system.
- Complete production and workstation documentation as required.
- Move products to designated areas in WIP/airlocks.
- Order components from the warehouse through SAP and scan WIP components with an RF gun.
- Supply assembly machines with components.
- Complete LRPs, including opening and closing lots, ensuring all paperwork is error-free.
- Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to 5S standards daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Participate in Lean initiatives and projects to eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Provide suggestions and actively participate in process improvements.
- Support and maintain all company policies, including ISO standards, health and safety requirements, continuous improvement, GMP, and standard work procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Willingness to wear GMP attire.
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
- Ability to stand for the entire 12-hour shift.
- Operating experience.
- Assembly experience.
- GMP experience.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes operating within cleanroom standards, typically manufacturing products for the medical industry. You will work in two buildings in Buffalo Grove and a brand-new site in Libertyville. This role requires wearing GMP attire and adhering to strict cleanliness and safety protocols.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
