Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Assembly Operators to join our team in a dynamic production environment. The role involves working in a cell to assemble electro-mechanical components such as thermostats, sensors, and control panels using hand and light power tools. Operators will follow detailed work instructions and be part of the Build, Test, and Pack process. Training is typically conducted on the first shift but can be adjusted to accommodate different needs.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cell as an assembly operator.
• Use hand tools and light power tools to assemble products.
• Follow work instructions for each order.
• Collaborate with warehouse workers who supply materials.
• Participate in cross-training across all production floor areas.

Essential Skills

• Previous production experience.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using screwdrivers.
• Familiarity with work instructions.

Work Environment

The work environment is temperature-controlled, well-lit, quiet, and clean. The production area is organized into cells for building, inspecting, and packing. Our centralized warehouse shares the same clean and temperature-controlled conditions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
