Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Panel Builder to join our team. This role involves using electrical schematics to layout and build control panels, including the installation and wiring of components. This position requires precision and expertise in assembling and wiring electrical panels for various applications.

Responsibilities

• Use electrical schematics to layout panels, enclosures, or boxes.
• Determine the placement of racks and rails, drill and tap holes, and install push buttons, power supplies, and motor controls.
• Wire components within the panel according to specifications.
• Connect panels to machinery 25% of the time, and prepare panels for shipment 75% of the time.
• Utilize Rittal Cabinets/Enclosures and Eaton components in panel construction.
• Proven experience in building and wiring panels per schematic.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Ownership of personal trade tools or willingness to purchase them.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, IL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
