Licensed Architect

An Architecture and Engineering due diligence company is looking to add a Licensed Architect to their team!

About:

This firm acts as a third-party construction expert, representing the financial interest of their clients. The role will involve a lot of time on job sites, conducting monthly visits for field observations, and time spent in the office writing reports, reviewing plans and specifications, contracts and cost documents. This is a heavy writing role with no opportunity to design.

Qualifications:

• 8-10+ years of experience
• Licensed Architect
• Core and shell experience, multi-family or affordable housing is highly preferred
• Project scale: $10M to $100M total cost

Travel Requirements:

• Travel is about 50% of the time
• Typical destinations: Midwestern cities, occasionally from Denver to the East Coast
• Travel usually occurs during the first and last weeks of the month
• Mostly same-day travel, with occasional overnights

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $45.67/hr.
