Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Food Scientist to support a major food manufacturer in Chicago, IL. This role involves spearheading product development projects, particularly focusing on sauces. You will have the opportunity to lead technical projects, develop product formulas, and ensure their successful commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage specific projects related to product development of sauces.
• Serve as the technical lead for product development projects.
• Develop product formulas, perform testing, and verify before sending to commercialization.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working in a food research and development/product development lab, ideally in pasta sauces, dipping sauces, dressings, or related fields.
• Formulation experience with complex products such as sauces and dressings.
• Experience conducting product development by matching existing products and working on new product development and commercialization.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Chicago,IL.

This position is anticipated to close on Feb 28, 2026.
