What You’ll Do
As an Entry‑Level Welder, you’ll work side‑by‑side with experienced welders and receive on‑the‑job training while contributing to daily production. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing MIG welding on steel and aluminum components
- Setting up welding machines and adjusting wire, tips, and basic parameters
- Reading and following blueprints for accurate fabrication
- Inspecting welded parts with visual checks and measurement tools
- Placing finished parts on conveyors or designated racks
- Using grinders to clean welds and remove burrs
- Tracking daily production and maintaining accurate records
- Reporting equipment issues to supervisors or maintenance
- Monitoring material levels and communicating shortages
What We’re Looking For
- Basic MIG welding experience (training or school experience counts!)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Welding certification from a trade school, community college, or similar program
This is a Permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.
