Warranty Technician - 6 month+ long contract!

The primary function of this position is to assist in the processing of warranty returns to ensure that accurate inspection results are collected and customer deadlines are met.

Duties:

• Assist with warranty inspection process by moving product and opening boxes.

• Perform basic visual inspection and document product data.

• Use hand tools and power tools during inspection processes.

• Assist in assembly and operation of laboratory equipment.

• Organize and maintain stock levels and storage of supplies.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment. Safety toe shoes, ANSI approved safety glasses with side shields, and other various PPE must be worn at all times.

• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods.

• Ability to lift 33 pounds and push, pull, lift, climb, bend, stoop, or squat as needed to perform job duties.

• Perform other duties and assignments, as required.

Skills:

• Satisfactory vision capable of reading newspaper size print. Corrective lenses are acceptable to meet this need.

• Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal.

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Knowledge in the basic use of hand tools. Power tools is a plus.

• Basic Microsoft Office and Windows computer skills.
