Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and team-oriented Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with others. This role requires standing for the entire day and a willingness to be cross-trained in various areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform receiving duties by documenting what is received.
- Conduct factory resets by manually pressing a button.
- Execute automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units to determine repair needs, which may involve longer cycle times of 60-90 minutes.
- Carry out Wi-Fi testing procedures.
- Perform elevated temperature tests.
- Conduct cosmetic cleaning and repairs.
- Participate in In Process Quality Control (IPQC).
- Assemble kits and perform pack out/pallet builds for shipment.
- Ship completed products.
- Ensure parts are scanned at every step of the process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in assembly, pick, packing, retail, repair, and electronic assembly.
- Skills in soldering, using test equipment, and operating RF scanners.
- Proficiency with computers and understanding of blueprints and power tools.
- General labor experience is beneficial.

Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
