Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and packaged. You will also receive and inspect incoming inventory, verify quantities and quality, and update inventory records. Safely operating forklifts to move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse will be a key responsibility.

• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and assist in inventory audits.
• Process orders efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity and quality standards.

• Experience in loading, inventory management, and material handling.
• Proficiency in using forklifts, including sit down and stand up types.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with unloading and using RF scanners.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.

• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Experience in processing orders and conducting inventory audits.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
