Title: Field Service Technician

Pay: $36 to $40 per hour.

Compensation Structure: This is an hourly position, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate after 40 hours have been worked. On travel weeks, employees can expect an additional 5–10 hours at the overtime rate. A minimum of 40 hours per week is guaranteed.

Travel Time Compensation: Any travel time that occurs during regular working hours—including driving, waiting at the airport, and flight time—will be fully compensated.

Per Diem: A per diem allowance of $80.00 per day is provided for travel.

Position Summary: The Field Service Technician is responsible for the assembly, debugging, troubleshooting, and repair of custom high-speed automation equipment. This role requires frequent travel to customer sites for equipment installation, commissioning, training, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, debug, inspect, and repair custom-built high-speed automation machinery
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues both in-house and on-site
• Collaborate with customers to ensure effective communication and high-quality service
• Conduct on-site equipment installation, commissioning, and final acceptance testing
• Assist with final assembly and testing processes prior to and post-shipment, following detailed engineering documentation
• Support start-up and preventative maintenance of systems in the field
• Provide remote troubleshooting via phone, Microsoft Teams, or remote access platforms
• Work collaboratively with Field Service Controls Engineers on mechanical integration and commissioning tasks
• Travel up to 75%, primarily within the U.S. with occasional international assignments (valid passport required or willingness to obtain one)
