Job Description
Join a dynamic team in an entry-level position where you will track and manage a pipeline of high-end commercial and residential projects. With guidance from senior team members, you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Track and manage a pipeline of high-end commercial and residential projects.
- Assist in monitoring project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support efforts to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Work closely with office staff and field electricians to understand project needs.
- Use basic Excel and Word skills; training will be provided for Procore and other tools.
- Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing project updates for the owner.
- Learn about electrical codes and standards to support compliance efforts.
- Participate in site visits and help with quality control checks.
- Support the development of project plans and schedules.
- Help with ordering and tracking materials and equipment for projects.
Essential Skills
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data organization, and spreadsheet management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and organize data accurately.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn about construction processes, estimating, and project management.
- Ability to follow instructions and take initiative when appropriate.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to visit job sites and learn hands-on when needed.
- Associate’s degree.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction management.
- Prior experience in construction or estimating is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
- Experience in site inspections and quality control.
- Bachelor's or above in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
Work Environment
The position requires in-office and onsite work.
