The facility offers a stable manufacturing environment where safety is a core cultural driver and a visible priority throughout the plant. Team members gain hands-on experience across both production and warehouse operations, building valuable skills with modern material handling equipment and systems. The organization promotes a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence, providing opportunities to grow within a structured, process-driven setting. Employees work alongside a supportive team that values reliability, accuracy, and collaboration to meet shared production and shipping goals.
Work Environment
This role is based in a production and warehouse facility that manufactures water filtration products and ships them to customers. The production floor and warehouse are separate but closely connected, and the Material Handler works regularly in both areas. The facility is well lit and relatively clean, with a strong emphasis on safety practices and procedures. The plant is not climate controlled, so temperatures can become hot during the summer months and may vary with the seasons. The role involves frequent use of forklifts (reach truck, stand-up, and sit-down), RF scanners, and computer-based shipping systems such as those used for UPS and FedEx.
