The V2X engineering team consists of a diverse group of professionals tasked with design and development of the next generation of tolling systems with a high focus on the inclusion of AI and ML capabilities.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to architect and build next-generation software solutions spanning scalable APIs, intuitive user interfaces, and robust cloud infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in designing full lifecycle systems-from database to browser-while integrating CI/CD pipelines and optimizing releases across multi-cloud environments including private cloud, OCI, and Azure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI)
- Develop dynamic, responsive web frontends using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
- Collaborate with design and product teams to build clean UI/UX workflows using component libraries
- Work with private clouds, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Microsoft Azure
- Write and optimize SQL/NoSQL queries across relational and document stores (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB)
- Develop APIs using OpenAPI and ensure compatibility across microservices
- Integrate with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana) and logging systems (ELK)
- Ensure security and performance tuning across the stack: secure authentication, input validation, RBAC
- Author internal technical documentation and participate in code reviews, architecture design sessions, and Agile ceremonies
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing
- 5+ years of full stack development experience across frontend and backend
- Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and/or C++ (per resume context), with strong grasp of software engineering principles
- Experience building and deploying FastAPI-based microservices and React-based frontends
- Understanding of application security best practices and DevSecOps integration
- Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and Docker-based workflows
- Strong testing fundamentals (unit, integration, API), using pytest, unittest, and JavaScript-based test runners
- Solid experience with RESTful API design, authentication/authorization (OAuth2, JWT), and service communication patterns
- Participated in On-Call rotations and practices full ownership of feature creation
- Exposure to embedded hardware development
- Experience with cross-platform development and edge computing
- Familiarity with MLOps workflows and integrating ML/AI into full stack applications
- Knowledge of backend message queues, pub/sub systems, and event-driven architecture to support IoT use cases
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field from an accredited institution.
