Job Description

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for repairing basic industrial pumps used for blending and transferring hazardous chemicals. You will perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance on mobile equipment such as bobcats and skid steers. Additionally, you will operate various equipment, including Bobcats, dump trucks, plows, and welding tools as needed. Your role will also include general facility maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, sweeping floors, and cutting grass. You will act as the first responder to spills within the facility and perform other maintenance-related tasks such as cutting and threading pipes and replacing dead batteries in forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain basic industrial pumps.
• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Operate equipment including Bobcats, dump trucks, and plows.
• Conduct general facility maintenance including plumbing and carpentry.

Work Environment

Our client operates in a full-service chemical storage, handling, and distribution logistics environment, focusing on blending and transferring hazardous chemicals.

This is a Permanent position based out of Joliet, IL.

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Joliet,IL.
