Position Overview
The International Client Support Representative serves as a key point of contact for international customers and internal sales teams. This role supports global order processing, shipment coordination, and customer communication while ensuring a high level of service across international markets. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting cross‑cultural business interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer and sales inquiries via phone and email regarding product availability, order status, shipping, and general company information
- Receive, enter, and process international customer orders
- Coordinate international shipments in partnership with internal departments
- Identify, prepare, and manage export documentation to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Resolve customer inquiries and complete quote requests
- Maintain and update customer records within ERP and internal database systems
- Interpret terms and conditions, pricing agreements, and customer contracts
- Recommend alternate products or shipment solutions to best meet customer needs
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Support international operations with marketing analysis, reporting, and travel coordination
- Coordinate international trade shows from registration through on‑site setup
- Assist with the development of international marketing materials (brochures, flyers, POP materials, newsletters)
- Collaborate with all levels of the organization to ensure excellent customer service
- Minimal international travel as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Customer service experience (1+ year preferred)
- Experience handling customer communication via phone and email
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- High attention to detail and organization
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
- Experience supporting international customers or distributors
- Exposure to order entry and ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Professional client email communication skills
- Cross‑cultural communication experience

Compensation & Growth
- Competitive pay with $1–$2 increase after 6 months upon permanent conversion

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Zurich, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
