Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description
This full-time, onsite position from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, involves performing quality inspection and acceptance of incoming components, in-progress product assembly, and final product inspection. The role ensures the manufacturing quality of the products, demanding strong mechanical acumen, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
3 parts of the job.
- Inspecting incoming parts. – Visual inspections, Micrometers and Calipers
- documentation and quality approval of the work orders. Help with non-confirming reports
- Calibration coordination.
- Documents and training procedures. Managing document changes. Comfortable with computer, getting into Microsoft word.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- high attention to detail in a regulated environment.
- Associate degree preferred. Highschool or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance role in a regulated industry—medical device manufacturing preferred.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnshire, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
