Job Title: Molding Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Molding Operator to join our team in producing silicone rubber implantable medical device components. This role is essential in ensuring quality and precision in our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate molding machines and equipment to produce high-quality medical device components.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections of parts using microscopes and small hand tools.
- Handle small parts and manage inventory efficiently.
- Work in a GMP clean room environment, adhering to all safety and cleanliness protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with molding machines and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leads regarding production issues.
- Participate in general production tasks, including labeling and assembly.
Essential Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in production, general labor, or material handling.
- Comfortable working in a GMP clean room environment.
- Experience with small parts and inventory management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Familiarity with GMP standards.
- Proficiency in using microscopes and small hand tools.
- Experience with molding operations and brake press or other machine operations.
- Must be comfortable wearing clean room attire and adhering to safety protocols.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnshire, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.95/hr.
