Job Description: Test Technician

[2nd Shift - 2pm-10pm]

As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for using test failure reports, schematics, datasheets, and other tools to accurately troubleshoot assembly or system-level failures to the component level for repair. You will collaborate with Test Engineers and customers to gain further knowledge of functionality when information is not readily available. Additionally, you will provide break-fix support for test equipment and utilize appropriate tools to perform necessary work, including the creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production.

Responsibilities

• Accurately troubleshoot assembly or system-level failures to the component level for repair.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers and customers to gain further knowledge of functionality.
• Provide break-fix support for test equipment.
• Utilize appropriate tools for the creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production.
• Demonstrate a basic, discipline-specific understanding of support for the full processes and product requirements.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, schematics, electronics, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with multimeters and network analyzers.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience working with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
• Ability to track bugs and defects and develop solutions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any software programming experience is a plus.
