Job Summary
We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication team. In this role, you’ll operate bending and press brake machines to form metal parts that meet exact specifications. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail‑oriented, and experienced working from prints in a production environment.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate press brake and bending machines
- Pull and read prints to ensure parts meet specifications
- Load jobs and adjust tooling using the machine interface
- Perform first‑piece inspections and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Execute precision forming, bending, and folding operations
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Read computerized blueprints and drawings
- Use measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, protractors, and tape measures
- Work with galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of experience as a Press Brake Operator or CNC Operator
- Experience working with CNC press brakes and controls
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Ability to add and subtract accurately
- Comfortable performing detailed inspections and adjustments
Additional Qualifications
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to team lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift

Work Schedule & Environment
- 1st Shift Opening:
- Monday–Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Friday: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Training will take place on 1st shift for 1–2 weeks
- Clean, organized workspace with all tools provided
- Safety‑focused environment
- Facility can be warm in the summer; doors remain open for ventilation

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
