Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Toppings Lead to join our team. This role requires a hands-on leader with experience in a food manufacturing environment, who can ensure safety, compliance, and productivity while effectively coordinating with the team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety checks and proactively address potential hazards.
- Report unsafe acts or conditions immediately.
- Ensure all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies are strictly followed.
- Partner with QA teams to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes for adherence to specifications.
- Perform detailed quality and safety checks.
- Complete centerline documentation on time.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and improvements.
- Enforce GMPs and food safety policies.
- Identify and report any compliance issues.
- Verify materials and recipe accuracy on all lines.
- Coordinate with warehouse to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Hands-on leadership in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong focus on safety, GMP compliance, productivity, and team coordination.
- GMP, Manufacturing, Food.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of food manufacturing experience.
- 1-2 years of lead experience.
This position operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM in a manufacturing environment with variable temperatures and high noise levels from machinery and alarms. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The role involves physical work, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manteno, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.77 - $24.84/hr.
