Job Description

Join our team as an Offset Printing Press Operator, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality print production. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining offset printing equipment, performing job setups, and optimizing print processes to enhance productivity and minimize waste.

Responsibilities

• Operate offset printing equipment efficiently.
• Review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing.
• Maintain daily print job production logs and data collection.
• Setup, program, and release jobs from the print queue.
• Maintain inventory levels of supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets, rollers, paper, and other necessary items.
• Perform corrective adjustments considering symptoms, possible causes, and remedies.
• Conduct daily maintenance according to procedures to ensure machine stability and dependability.
• Perform accurate and efficient adjustments to minimize downtime and service calls.
• Monitor the printing process to maintain print quality and optimize productivity.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years experience as a press setup operator.
• Experience with tape measure/ruler.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of printing press operations.
• Proficient in offset and digital printing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marengo, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Marengo,IL.
