Assembly Worker

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Assembly Worker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll assemble high-quality products using hand and power tools while following clear, step-by-step instructions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a clean, team-oriented environment.

All products weigh 30 lbs or less, and seated assembly is available.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble products by following Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and accurately
  • Perform electrical assembly and soldering (based on experience)
  • Test bearings using thread rolls
  • Assemble actuators for various product lines
  • Work closely with a small team to meet quality and production goals

What We’re Looking For

Required Skills

  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Mechanical or assembly experience
  • Ability to lift and handle items up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to follow detailed, step-by-step instructions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Work Schedule

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM (+ $3/hour premium)
  • New hires train on 1st shift for two weeks
  • All positions start on Mondays

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marengo, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
