Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Entry Level

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Design Engineer to join our team focused on natural gas distribution systems. This role offers hands-on experience in designing, routing, testing, and specifying materials for gas distribution mains while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and route natural gas distribution mains in compliance with industry codes and standards
  • Regularly utilize AutoCAD and/or GIS software for design and documentation
  • Coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure project alignment
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Conduct quality control of drawings and maintain accuracy in the drawing database


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited university (required)
  • Internship or up to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated involvement in extracurriculars such as student organizations, sports, volunteering, or senior design projects
