Machine Operator

The role involves cutting sheets of film for the SMT Department to finish. You will operate a machine set up for stamping cuts into plastic by inserting one sheet at a time and pressing go. Although fast-paced, quality takes precedence over speed. Over time, you will learn to operate the laser cutting machine, which requires more intricate and complex cuts.

• Cut sheets of film for the SMT Department.
• Operate stamping machines by inserting sheets and initiating the process.
• Inspect sheets after stamping for quality control.
• Learn and operate a laser cutting machine for intricate cuts.
• Maintain a focus on quality over pace.

• At least 6 months of machine operating experience.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for 8-10 hours.
• Flexible attitude to be cross-trained and assist in other plant areas.

• Experience in die cutting or stamping.
• General production and labor experience.

The work environment is very clean and temperature-controlled, providing a beautiful setting for manufacturing. All departments operate within their own lab or cleanroom area.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
