The role involves cutting sheets of film for the SMT Department to finish. You will operate a machine set up for stamping cuts into plastic by inserting one sheet at a time and pressing go. Although fast-paced, quality takes precedence over speed. Over time, you will learn to operate the laser cutting machine, which requires more intricate and complex cuts.
Responsibilities- Cut sheets of film for the SMT Department.
- Operate stamping machines by inserting sheets and initiating the process.
- Inspect sheets after stamping for quality control.
- Learn and operate a laser cutting machine for intricate cuts.
- Maintain a focus on quality over pace.
- At least 6 months of machine operating experience.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for 8-10 hours.
- Flexible attitude to be cross-trained and assist in other plant areas.
- Experience in die cutting or stamping.
- General production and labor experience.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is very clean and temperature-controlled, providing a beautiful setting for manufacturing. All departments operate within their own lab or cleanroom area.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
