Job Title: Civil/Structural Engineer

Job Description

Design, analyze, and evaluate structural systems for buildings or infrastructure, working under senior engineer supervision to prepare calculations, modeling, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for buildings or infrastructure.
• Prepare and evaluate calculations, modeling, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on structural design and analysis projects.
• Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD for design and analysis.
• Conduct structural analysis for concrete and steel designs.
• Contribute to foundation design and structural steel projects.
• Engage in infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in structural design and analysis.
• Experience with AutoCAD and other design software.
• Knowledge of concrete and steel design principles.
• Background in civil engineering and structural design.
• Ability to conduct structural analysis and foundation design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• ABET structural/civil engineering degree with a focus on structural, concrete, and steel coursework.
• Internship experience in any industry is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in an office setting in the Chicago suburbs or Atlanta office.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $36.06/hr.
