Job Title: Procurement Specialist / Sourcing Specialist

Job Description

This role requires expertise in supplier onboarding, system integration, market analysis, and proficiency in using TCO, RFQ, and RFI. You will own the strategic sourcing process, including supplier selection, management of service level agreements, and contract review and negotiations for assigned commodities. As a relationship manager, you will collaborate with internal clients to enhance external supplier relationships, manage expectations, and build lasting partnerships. You will also be recognized as an industry expert, staying updated on new products and materials, and managing their introduction in an economically advantageous manner. Your role includes maintaining, re-evaluating, and expanding reliable sources of supply to foster competition.

Responsibilities

• Manage the strategic sourcing process for supplier selection.
• Oversee management of supplier service level agreements.
• Conduct contract review and negotiations for assigned commodities.
• Act as the relationship manager for all external supplier relationships.
• Maximize supplier relationships and manage expectations.
• Maintain and expand reliable sources of supply.
• Collaborate with internal clients to maximize cost, delivery, and quality value.
• Stay updated on new products and materials and manage their introduction effectively.

Essential Skills

• Procurement experience of 2 years.
• Vendor management and purchasing skills.
• University Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, especially in analyzing spend data and market analysis.
• Ability to lead high-value, medium complexity sourcing teams.
• Detailed knowledge of sourcing and supplier management.
• Understanding of purchasing principles, negotiation techniques, and contract law.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle ERP system is preferred.
