Job Description
This Project Manager will serve as the dedicated advocate, advisor, and 'eyes and ears' for a project owner throughout the entire lifecycle of a construction project—from inception and design to construction, commissioning, and closeout. They will be the single point of coordination between the owner and external stakeholders, including architects, general contractors, engineers, and vendors, ensuring the project meets its goals regarding scope, budget, and schedule.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary representative for the project owner, managing all aspects of the construction project.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with architects, general contractors, engineers, and vendors.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage project documentation and reporting, including RFIs and change orders.
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Handle project coordination for commercial construction projects.
- Oversee the commissioning and closeout process of construction projects.
- 3-5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager on the owner’s side.
- Experience in corporate interior renovations, especially in occupied spaces.
- Strong project management and construction management skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore or Bluebeam.
- Ability to be on-site 5 days a week in Oak Brook.
- Experience with corporate interiors on the owner's side in an occupied space is a plus.
- Strong energy and interpersonal skills are highly desirable.
The work environment is onsite at Lincoln Center 3 for a corporate interior renovation project. This is a Contract position based out of Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
