Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Water Wastewater Technician, where you will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining air and water quality systems at an automotive manufacturing site. This position offers a hands-on, autonomous work environment where you can interact with customers and ensure their satisfaction through exceptional problem-solving support.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily process application quality analysis using water quality testing equipment.
- Provide routine and special application service support to customers.
- Execute required water quality and chemistry tests.
- Review trends, records, and reports to maintain proper procedure and standards.
- Maintain product inventories.
- Provide technical and troubleshooting support to customers.
- Operate wastewater treatment systems and chemical feed stations.
- Operate Reverse Osmosis system.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Obtain the Class K Waste Water Treatment Works Operator License within 1 year of employment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interface positively and professionally with customers.
- Ability to analyze readings and organize data logically in spreadsheets.
- Above-average verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain results of data gatherings.
- Experience in water treatment and Reverse Osmosis systems.
- Forklift Operator License.
This is a Contract position based out of Peoria, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
