REMOTE Structural Engineer

Job Description

Engage with clients to discuss building site soils and project requirements, design concrete and steel structures, and produce detailed drawings. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding building site soils and project specifications.
• Design and produce detailed drawings for concrete structures.
• Design steel structures to meet specific project requirements.
• Create general arrangement drawings for site layouts and equipment orders.
• Ensure all design requirements are accurate and suitable for the site.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address questions and resolve issues.
• Set up schedules for engineering tasks and coordinate with manufacturing to align project timelines.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in civil or structural engineering design.
• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license is a plus.
• Ability to represent the company well when interacting with vendors, customers, and clients.
• Potential to become a licensed PE and/or SE.
