We’re looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join our growing team. If you take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and working on diverse projects, this is the opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel materials (14 gauge to ¼” thickness).
• Fabricate and assemble components such as guards, chutes, covers, conveyors, tanks, frames, and flumes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and prototypes to ensure accuracy.
• Operate MIG welding machines and adjust settings for proper metal fusion.
• Use hand tools and power tools for finishing work, including grinding and sanding.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and mark part numbers.
• Safely operate forklifts or overhead cranes to move materials.

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in MIG welding and blueprint reading.
• Ability to weld carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Skilled in using tape measures, grinders, and other hand tools.
• Experience in fabrication and fitting is a plus.
• Forklift and crane operation experience preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
