We’re looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join our growing team. If you take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and working on diverse projects, this is the opportunity for you!
What You’ll Do
- Perform MIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel materials (14 gauge to ¼” thickness).
- Fabricate and assemble components such as guards, chutes, covers, conveyors, tanks, frames, and flumes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and prototypes to ensure accuracy.
- Operate MIG welding machines and adjust settings for proper metal fusion.
- Use hand tools and power tools for finishing work, including grinding and sanding.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and mark part numbers.
- Safely operate forklifts or overhead cranes to move materials.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in MIG welding and blueprint reading.
- Ability to weld carbon steel and stainless steel.
- Skilled in using tape measures, grinders, and other hand tools.
- Experience in fabrication and fitting is a plus.
- Forklift and crane operation experience preferred.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
