Job Title: Warehouse Tool Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Tool Clerk to join our warehouse team. This position is for the 1st shift, running from Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The primary responsibilities include checking inventory, signing tools in and out to mechanics, and utilizing our computer system. Additional duties involve cycle counting, picking, calibrating, and verifying the stock of tools. Attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.

Responsibilities

• Check inventory and manage tool sign-in and sign-out processes for mechanics.
• Utilize the computer system for tool management and work orders.
• Perform cycle counting and tool picking.
• Calibrate tools and verify tool stock.
• Conduct detailed inspections of tools for damage and missing parts.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed.
• Participate in forklift and scissor lift training.
• Maintain accurate data entry related to inventory management.

Essential Skills

• Experience in receiving inspections.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems.
• Ability to perform cycle counting and pick parts for technicians.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Mechanically inclined.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Punctuality and attendance are highly valued.
• Experience in warehouse operations and general labor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
