Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Material Handler on the 1st Shift from 7am-3:30pm. This role is perfect for individuals eager to work in a thriving environment and are open to cross-training in various departments.

Responsibilities

• Handle inventory management, preferably using KANBAN systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams, utilizing hand and power tools for assembly.
• Perform wiring tasks and read schematics, with training provided on production specifics.
• Ensure accurate assembly and meet performance measures such as units assembled per hour and rework accuracy.

Essential Skills

• Experience in inventory management, ideally with KANBAN.
• Basic manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform wiring and read schematics.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with RF scanners and forklift operations, including sit down and stand up forklifts.
• Computer skills for loading, shipping, receiving, and unloading.

Work Environment

Work in a mid-sized manufacturing facility with approximately 100 employees. The company specializes in power transfer and switchgear units. Employees are required to wear safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toe boots. This environment fosters teamwork and skill enhancement in a specialized field.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Charles, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
