Job Title: Control Panel Wirer
Job Description
This position is responsible for the wiring and final assembly of panel boards related to low and medium voltage switchgears.
Responsibilities
- Wire and assemble electrical control panels.
- Follow wiring diagrams and schematics accurately.
- Install pre-wired panels into control boxes.
- Terminate wiring based on schematics.
- Diagnose issues and understand blueprints and schematic drawings to determine wiring layout.
- Inspect parts to detect defects and ensure quality.
- Use proper protective equipment and tools as required.
- Regular in-person attendance is essential.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience as a Panel Builder, Panel Wirer, or similar role in a job shop environment.
- Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficiency with shop equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to perform basic math functions, including fractions and decimals.
- Fluency in English for effective communication, including facilitating department huddles and collaborating with engineers and project managers.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Charles, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
