Job Title: Control Panel Wirer

Job Description

This position is responsible for the wiring and final assembly of panel boards related to low and medium voltage switchgears.

Responsibilities

• Wire and assemble electrical control panels.
• Follow wiring diagrams and schematics accurately.
• Install pre-wired panels into control boxes.
• Terminate wiring based on schematics.
• Diagnose issues and understand blueprints and schematic drawings to determine wiring layout.
• Inspect parts to detect defects and ensure quality.
• Use proper protective equipment and tools as required.
• Regular in-person attendance is essential.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience as a Panel Builder, Panel Wirer, or similar role in a job shop environment.
• Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficiency with shop equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to perform basic math functions, including fractions and decimals.
• Fluency in English for effective communication, including facilitating department huddles and collaborating with engineers and project managers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Charles, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
