Job Title: Production Chemist
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical synthesis on multi-kilo scale and execute via batch record.
- Maintain documentation standards to meet GMP requirements, including recording charges/transfers and documenting key observations.
- Set up, operate, and clean all plant equipment, such as reactors, centrifuges, filter dryers, and milling equipment.
- Participate in staging of raw materials, loading into equipment, and unloading intermediates and products from dryers.
- Collaborate with Chemical Engineers to produce R&D API.
- Read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively in group settings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2+ Years of experience in compounding or chemical operating
- Proficiency in GMP
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Skokie, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
