Responsibilities
- Build prototype equipment and test refrigeration systems. MUST have refrigeration experience.
- Design, build, and maintain life cycle test stands.
- Conduct agency approval testing for new and revised equipment.
- Create engineering laboratory reports documenting setup, procedure, and results.
- Participate in design engineering activities from concept design to end-of-life analysis.
- Build proof of concept breadboards at system and unit levels from sketches, blueprints, and dialogue requested by engineers.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Ability to create and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Ability to create and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Basic computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of safety requirements while around electrical products up to 120V.
