Job Title: Associate Scientist


Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Scientist who will be responsible for conducting experimental work at the bench and contributing to the design of new blended products for food applications. This role involves developing new applications and conducting lab experiments to support new product development and enhance customer formulations.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating at least two new innovative product applications annually.
  • Provide scientific data for webinars, technical documents, and marketing materials.
  • Help design and test new products from concept through commercialization.
  • Support customer needs by responding to technical requests and participating in pilot trials.
  • Maintain and document findings in lab equipment notebook and present results.

Essential Skills

  • Hands-on experience with lab work, including assay techniques.
  • Knowledge of research and development processes.
  • Instrumental assay experience such as GC, HPLC, and spectrophotometer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Food Science or a related field.
  • Dairy protein knowledge is a plus.

Work Environment

The role is based in an R&D Lab.

Compensation:$30.77
