What You’ll Be Doing:
- Precision Cutting: Operate CNC machines using oxy-fuel and plasma methods to burn and cut metal products to exact specs.
- Heavy Lifting: Use overhead cranes and sit-down forklifts to safely maneuver large-scale steel materials.
- Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure every cut is perfect.
- Quality Control: Use micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to verify accuracy and maintain high standards.
- Full-Cycle Fabrication: Prepare plates using grinders and manage inventory/labeling to keep the shop running smoothly.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of University Park, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
