About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join a dynamic financial services team. This role is ideal for someone with a experience in banking or retail customer service who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
As a Research Customer Service Representative, you’ll handle a mix of operational processing (30%) and inbound customer service calls (70%), primarily related to wire transfers. You’ll be responsible for verifying member information, collecting transaction details, and ensuring accuracy in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls related to wire transfers, verifying member identity and collecting transaction details.
- Process member transactions including check deposits, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
- Monitor exception reports and perform necessary corrections and adjustments.
- Review and evaluate checks submitted via the Deposit Anywhere portal.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance in all financial operations.
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (retail or banking preferred)
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Experience in financial services or banking operations
Soft Skills:
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Coachable with a positive attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
Work Environment & Perks
- Training: 100% onsite for the first 2–3 weeks
- Hybrid Schedule: After training, 2 days remote / 3 days onsite
- Team Size: 11-person team, reporting to a Director
