Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Join a small, dedicated team in a family-owned company as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist. This is a physically demanding role in an old-school warehouse environment where you will handle heavy parts for the railroad industry.

• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Check incoming orders to ensure accuracy.
• Pick orders and build pallets for shipment.
• Operate sit-down forklifts safely and effectively.

• 3+ years of sit-down forklift experience.
• Proficiency in loading and unloading trucks.
• Attention to detail for checking orders for accuracy.
• Experience in preparing orders for shipping.

• Experience with international shipping is a plus.

You will work in a small team of about five people in a non-climate controlled warehouse. The role involves handling heavy products weighing 40-50 pounds. The work environment is old-school with all paperwork done manually, without computers. This is a steady job offering 40 hours a week and a supportive company culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukegan, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
