Cmm Programmer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced CMM Programmer / Inspection Lead to oversee and support all Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operations within our quality department. This role will serve as the go-to expert for CMM programming and inspection processes, ensuring precision, consistency, and compliance with engineering and manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all CMM-related activities, providing leadership and technical expertise.
• Develop, write, and validate CMM programs for both new and existing parts, ensuring accurate and efficient inspection routines.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret technical drawings and specifications for inspection planning.
• Provide hands-on support and mentorship to the inspection team, troubleshooting issues and optimizing inspection workflows.
• Maintain and update CMM software programs and documentation to reflect design changes and process improvements.
• Ensure all inspection activities meet internal quality standards and customer requirements.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience programming and operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
• Proficiency in Zeiss Calypso software is strongly preferred; experience with other platforms such as PC-DMIS is acceptable
