We are a leading polyethylene manufacturer, specializing in low and high-density polyethylene extrusions, printing, converting, and recycling. Since 1959, we have been dedicated to providing customizable and recyclable products. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on machinery and facility equipment.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to follow a set preventative maintenance schedule.
- Conduct reactive maintenance as necessary.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience performing electromechanical maintenance.
- 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics.
- 2+ years performing wiring and rewiring of machinery.
- Experience interpreting schematics and mechanical prints.
- Experience with extrusion machinery maintenance.
- Welding/Fabrication experience.
- PLC Troubleshooting, particularly with Allen Bradley systems.
- Blow fill machinery maintenance experience.
- Experience in the plastics industry.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is organized yet slightly gritty, with some plastic smells that are mitigated by proper ventilation. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 7:00am to 4:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr.
