Sales Support Representative
Location: Corporate Headquarters – Wheeling, IL

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Support Representative to join our team at our Wheeling, IL headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support customer accounts to drive satisfaction, sales growth, and profitability.
- Process customer requests including quotes, order entry, delivery updates, and follow-ups.
- Resolve customer issues, process returns, and handle credit/debit adjustments.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Maintain and monitor pricing and inventory agreements.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the outside sales team.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer concerns efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation to support decisions and ensure service continuity.
- Handle 50–75 complex orders with multiple line items on a regular basis.
- Participate in a rotating phone support schedule, managing approximately 45 calls per day when assigned.
- Use a headset for incoming calls routed directly to your desk; manage availability for breaks and non-call tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing sales support or customer service.
- Strong product knowledge and ability to manage technical information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems and order entry processes.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with QAD ERP software.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and KPI tracking.
Additional Information
- Team Environment: Support both domestic and international clients as part of the Power Transmission Team.
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Attendance Policy: Strict punctuality is required. A 5-point system is enforced—being late by even one minute results in a point. Accumulating 5 points may result in termination.
