Construction Laborer

Job Description

As a Construction Laborer, you will play an essential role in the production process of creating underground Concrete Duct Bank boxes. Depending on your assignment, you may be responsible for various tasks, contributing significantly to the overall construction process.

Pay: $22 - $24/hr

Shift: Monday - Saturday 10hr shifts

Responsibilities

• Set up and tie rebar, preparing it for the next station.
• Assist in creating forms by cutting and measuring materials.
• Clean and oil forms before and after each assembly.
• Assist with pouring concrete, including positioning the concrete trough and handling vibrating tools to settle concrete flush in the forms.
• Finish concrete once the box is complete and begins to cure.
• Perform cleanup tasks throughout the facility, including broom work, picking up trash, and moving materials to different staging lanes.

Essential Skills

• Experience in construction and general labor.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
• Capability to lift 50lbs or more to or near head level.
• Proficiency in carrying materials such as tools, boxes, and wood boards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with concrete in residential or commercial settings.
• Possession of OSHA 10 or similar certifications is a plus.

This is a Contract position based out of Beech Grove, IN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $34.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Beech Grove,IN.
