  • Develop Mechanical Equipment: Create fixtures, robotic cells, conveyors, and custom machines tailored to production needs.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with the Industrial Engineering Supervisor and other teams to identify and implement cutting-edge technologies.
  • Support Capital Projects: Evaluate technical feasibility, ROI, and vendor proposals for new automation investments.
  • Ensure System Reliability: Align automation systems with safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Manage Projects End-to-End: Oversee planning, budgeting, design, testing, and commissioning of automation projects.
  • Contribute to Strategic Decisions: Participate in meetings for new product launches and equipment specifications.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance: Ensure long-term system performance and serviceability.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events to explore emerging technologies.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and vision systems
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical projects and cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., OSHA) and best practices in machine design
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills focused on scalable solutions

Work Environment & Hiring Process

  • Location: Manufacturing facility
