Job Description

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for a variety of activities to ensure plant equipment and facilities remain in optimal operating condition. This includes performing scheduled preventative maintenance and addressing emergency breakdowns as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.
• Conduct emergency and breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.
• Reference equipment manuals and other technical literature for guidance.
• Accurately use measurement and test equipment.
• Perform repairs and installations on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam systems, and more.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to perform job duties with or without accommodation.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Experience with servo-driven and steam systems (boilers).
• Well-rounded skills in electrical, mechanical, and machine shop environments.
• Capability to accurately use and read various measuring devices.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions and ask questions.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule. The facility is non-climate controlled, meaning it will be warm in spring and summer and cool in fall and winter. Technicians work in teams of two, combining mechanical and electrical expertise.

This is a Permanent position based out of Crawfordsville, IN.

The pay range for this position is $69000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
