Industrial Painter

As a painter, you will utilize the Plex system to determine product specifications and follow procedures with meticulous attention to detail. You will use pneumatic tools, grinders, air ratchets, and impact guns to prepare and paint products. Completing daily production logs, performing repetitive tasks, and ensuring housekeeping duties are part of the daily routine. This role requires the ability to lift over 35 lbs and adhere to safety protocols.

• Determine product specifications using the Plex system.
• Follow procedures with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize pneumatic tools, grinders, air ratchets, and impact guns.
• Prepare products for paint application.
• Complete prime and paint procedures as per instructions.
• Maintain daily production logs and housekeeping duties.
• Perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Ensure the ability to lift over 35 lbs.

• Experience in paint preparation, industrial painting, paint booth, powder coating, and sanding.

The work environment consists of an older facility split into two separate buildings, currently housing 120 employees with plans to expand rapidly. It is a loud, dirty, and hot environment during warm weather, and cold in winter months. The facility features CNC machinery, weld booths, and racking systems. Steel-toed shoes with laces are required. Efforts are underway to upgrade the facility, offering an opportunity to be part of an evolving workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dyer, IN.

The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $22.05/hr.
