Description
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Monitor and respond to system alerts and notifications from various platforms, including cloud environments, network, applications, servers, and databases.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic technical issues related to system performance, connectivity, and cloud resources.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical team or senior analyst.
• Ensure accurate documentation of incidents, including steps taken, resolutions, and any follow-up actions required.
• Perform routine checks and reports on system health and performance, focusing on both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Provide first-level support for clients and end-users, troubleshooting issues through phone, email, or ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve incident response times and overall operational efficiency
Must Haves:
• Experience working with BigPanda or Grafana is a must.
• 2-4 years' experience in a technical support, IT monitoring or system operations role demonstrating observability principles and best practices
• ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence (or other documentation platforms)
• Experience with monitoring tools and systems used to track and report system health / performance
• Fundamental understanding of networking concepts (TCP /IP, DNS, HTTP etc.) and IT infrastructure (servers/ databases/cloud services)
