Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to oversee the manufacturing process of magnet wire products. This role involves handling raw materials, feeding material into production lines, operating machinery, troubleshooting basic machine issues, pulling enamel samples, and ensuring quality through HMI touchscreen monitoring. Documentation of in-process updates is crucial, alongside moving finished products using overhead cranes and forklifts. The automated machines simplify the process, allowing operators to focus on material handling and quality checks.
Responsibilities
- Handle raw materials and prepare them for production.
- Feed material into the production line as needed.
- Understand specification sheets for machine setup.
- Operate and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
- Pull in-process enamel samples for quality checks.
- Monitor production line quality via HMI touchscreen.
- Document all required in-process updates manually.
- Utilize overhead cranes to move finished wire spools.
- Use forklifts to store finished products in the warehouse.
Essential Skills
- Ability to work safely without constant supervision.
- Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
- Open mind to forklift training; previous experience is not mandatory.
- Strong tenure at previous employers.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English work orders.
Available Shift & Pay
- 1st shift: 8AM-8PM on a 2/2/3 schedule
- $21.11
- 3rd shift: 8PM-8AM on a 2/2/3 schedule
- $21.11 plus $1.25 shift differential, $22.36

Work Environment
Our facility is clean, though some areas can be loud and hot. We are expanding our warehouse and installing new production lines. The work environment is traditional manufacturing, with shifts from 8AM to 8PM and 8PM to 8AM on a 2/2/3 schedule.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, IN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.40 - $21.65/hr.
